The colors are beautiful and the angle you chose makes the photo very interesting to me.
I wish we had windmills down here. All we have are sugarcane fields and oil towers. And you have to drive hours to find those. Bah, as soon as I graduate next year I'm seriously considering moving.

That is awesome, as usual, coming from you =D All your works are so awesome!
This photo reminds me of the book I've read (and now looking for the final one) called "The Dark Tower" the story has a rose and a tower in it. A black tower. The idea just reminded me.

perspectives are great aren't they? you just close one eye and squish views of large things in your fingers...used to do that all the time as a child.

i find this to be quite lovely, except for the rest of the plant attached to the flower. it somehow feels too distracting toward the bottom, contrasted with the pretty simplicity of the top.

What a lovely picture for the eyeballs. The windmill moves to the currents of wind and yet the flower defies it completely. Remaining quite perfectly and utterly still.

I love the focusing on the red flower, and its such a contrast between that and the sky behind. I also really like the way how the flower is nearly as 'tall' as the windmil behind, nice use of the foreground against the background!
