I like this and I do sense depression. Depression doesn't always mean dark, and sometimes the problems are left so unoted that everything around them seems happy but deep down inside something is wrong. And you come off with this subject in a different but excellent manner. Remember depression doesn't always mean it has to be dark because sometimes you want to feel that light and try so hard. And seeing a bright light around you makes it even worse.

Great pose and setting - though the skin looks so very healthy, it's hard to believe he's truly depressed. Maybe if the colour weren't quite so saturated? But a great shot nevertheless, and I think the emotion comes across. The costume seems right for the subject matter too.
